Nefertiti Hotel Luxor
Nefertiti Hotel has 30 rooms on Al-Sahaby Street, in the old quarter beside Luxor Temple on the east bank. The temple gate is a five minute walk, close enough to go over in the evening when it is lit and be back for dinner, and from there the Avenue of the Sphinxes runs the whole way to Karnak on foot. The ferry to the west bank leaves nearby, so the Valley of the Kings fits into a morning, and the kitchen will pack a lunch to take along. The train station is 700 metres away.
Rooms run from 14 to 24 m2 as singles, doubles, twins, triples and family rooms for four, each with a balcony, air conditioning, a fridge and minibar, a kettle, a safe and a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. Breakfast is served at the rooftop restaurant and sun terrace, or in the room. There is a tour desk, an airport shuttle, car hire, currency exchange, laundry and free parking and WiFi. Check-in runs from 14:00 until midnight, check-out is at 12:00 and bags can be left afterwards.
